There appears to be no way to control Pennywise via scripts?

Feature
What is the current behavior?
The app works as expected, a "dumb" browser which floats above other stuff
Expected behavior
I would love any ability to control it via scripts, such as terminal commands to tell it to open this URL or that, or the ability to hide via a script. Applescript would be nice too, though for a tool like this Terminal would be okay. There appears to be no ability to control anything, no way to load a URL via any kind of script, nothing, which is frustrating for me.
URL attempting to access
N/A. I am basically hoping for a highly flexible way to open a graphic for alerts that I will actually see, rather than the endless stream of Mac OS alerts my brain has been trained to ignore.
Screenshots (Optional But May Be Requested)
I am mainly trying to have a box that floats over my screen which can show content, like HTML or graphics saying things like, "Warning! You're posting to the wrong twitter account!" that I will actually notice and take action for.
Pennywise Version:
0.8.0
OS / OS Version:
Fully updated Mac OS Catalina 10.15.2

Hey @peterinjapan have you found anything that reproduces functionality like this? I ended up implementing my own Webview in Hammerspoon but I agree that if this app was complemented it with the functionality you're describing it would be incredibly useful.
