The application “Micboard Server” can’t be opened.

Hi,

Sorry in advance if this is a stupid issue and might just be user error. but i can't seem to get this Micboard to work on my mac. I downloaded the micboard server and tried to open it and it says "The application “Micboard Server” can’t be opened."

any and all help is appreciated!

I am experiencing this issue as well. This seems to be a MAC OS X Big Sur issue with the application coming from an unidentified developer so MAC doesn't want to allow it to run. I found a bunch of other older applications having similar issues but their resolutions don't seem to be working. I am running OS X 11.5.2.

I have tried this solution: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/64842819/cant-run-app-because-of-permission-in-big-sur/64895860#64895860 on this part: chmod -R 755 Path\ to\ app\ file.app. but it does not see to do anything but cause the pop up letting me know that i cant run the application to no longer pop up. the application does not open still.

I have tried a few of the other solutions but they all seem to have other prerequisites as the commands don't work and seem to be looking for other software that i don't have.
