Adding Binaural_spat listner.amxd to Audio track crashes ableton

Hi! Im trying these m4l devices for the first time.... the source device loads fine, but adding the listener to any track immediately crashes Ableton. I'm using the latest version of Live 10, and a macbook pro running Big Sur 11.1

It also crashes on Ableton 11 and M1 Macbook. It's sad, I really wanted to try it.
BTW, I'll inspect the error to see if I can catch it. 🕵🏻‍♂️
