The bin file has to be fully setup manually.

This is a bug in the Dremel software, but from the 1.0.0-R11122 release notes, it looks like it is fixed. The material used to generate the bin file may exist on your LC40, but not others. So when you pick a material to start with, it clears all the engraves.
With the new version of the LC40 software that should be fixed, but will need to be updated here.
