No attachment for Gmail on iOS

Is there a way to attach files on the gmail app on iOS?
I can see that the code mentions "The 'mailto' URI Scheme (RFC 2368) does not support attachments." but is there a workaround?

Unfortunately its not possible on iOS. Their email framework including attachments only works for iMail.
