Please allow for groups inside of groups

Hey! I would love to see nested grouping as part of this plugin. This would allow detailed component libraries to be structured well. The primary goal here is to use multiple grouping symbols in a name and layout the frames accordingly (For example: Desktop/buttons/primary/text-only). A secondary feature would be to add text titles above the groups automatically. Anyway, hope to see another update, this is one of my most valued plugins.

@dylandeheer
thanks for the issue!

Sorry, I think i couldn't understand 100%, Can you elaborate it a bit more? and possibly show me what the ideal layout will look like!

thanks!

Hi @kawamurakazushi → absolutely. Let me clarify a bit more, I have attached some screenshots to help me explain my case. As you can see in the images I am building a simple design system for my client. I am grouping my components in a atomic fashion (according to the atomic design principles of Brad Frost). To give you a few examples I have my component groups structured as:

Desktop / cards / some card : state (normal/hover/pressed/etc)
Mobile / cards / some card : state (normal/hover/pressed/etc)
Uniform (same on mobile and desktop) / cards / some card : state (normal/hover/pressed/etc)

Now what I want to achieve is to structure the formatting according to the grouping of all / present in the names. So that means the structure would first group all Desktop items, followed by all card item, followed by the cards. The way the formatter works now is that it only looks at the first group.
