When there's an Oculus software update, OVRServiceLauncher spams the event log

I noticed I had a window pop up briefly every few moments and checked the event manager fo find several hundred entries "The operation completed successfully" by OVRServiceLauncher within just 40 minutes. At the same time, Service Control Manager reports several hundred "The Oculus VR Library Service service terminated with the following service-specific error:
An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format." errors.
Undoing OculusDummy allowed the app to update and stopped the messages.
If it was a random white window that showed up for a split seconds, that was probably just Oculus Dummy doing it's thing, it's a workaround so the tray icon doesn't vanish, thought I will look into the event manager to see what's up, thanks for the info

As someone who's not experienced into looking into any thing like this, my best guess is that the Service Launcher is probably trying to call for things from the Oculus Client and since Oculus Dummy doesn't have whatever it needs, it keeps retrying to grab it anyway, resulting in an endless cycle of errors. Can you help me by providing screenshots of the info, and maybe some info about the stuff your using to see this info so I could look into it myself?
