Does this plugin support Angular 2 or there are any ideas of supporting it?

@kdietrich Is this dead? Back here you mentioned a port for angular2 when it's stable, now we are at Angular4. At least some kind of statement would be nice I guess.

@michaelfaisst Feel free to implement one and send me your PR. I currently don't have time to rewrite for Angular 4.
