Images/divs/etc are obscured by <canvas> element in webkit browsers

This is preventing the "loading" gif from appearing, as well as the "winner" text at the end of a round. Occurs in Chrome and Safari. (But Firefox works great!)

Can apparently be fixed by disabling acceleration:
