Linux pulse audio drivers crash

While using this in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS the use of this tool causes two versions of the audio stream to overlay at the same time (about a second delay) and pulse audio drivers crash and need to be restarted. The audio delay persists with other programs. This happens every time I use it.
