You currently finish with zoomToFitRect.
Instead a simple centerRect would be preferred.
The zooming I find disruptive mainly due to odd zoom values that render poorly.
I would prefer to zoom as a separate step that does not need to be part of the script.
When skipping artboards, I generally have consistent sizes and the desired zoom in place. I just need the next artboard selected and focused in center.

Great to have a working artboard switcher again!
But i agree with @mordaga , zoomToFitRect annoys me: especially when I'm using mobile and desktop artboards on one page.
