Time lapse animation

Time-lapse animations seem to be poorly implemented. While the map animation works flawlessly, the time bar, progress is janky and gets stuck/jumps from one time to another. It'd be great if this very nice feature of Kepler is polished for the Tableau version. The gif depicts the situation though it seems a lot smoother than how it really is. I think this is due to the Tableau Desktop browser, can you confirm if you see same behavior on server? Here is a presentation I did where you can see that server has a smoother/better experience than desktop. https://youtu.be/PLYVmc9teoE?t=1091
