Cannot control app with controller or remote

So I was experimenting and seeing if WirePod would work with a Amazon Fire TV and everything went well until I opened the app and I couldn't navigate to the start button. So close yet so far

Managed to use SCRCPY to press the button and can confirm that everything works as expected
