Smart Date Display Helper

I think it would be cool if the date is displayed at varying levels depending on the proximity. Here is what I am thinking:

the current time is the day of the game -> time shown in hours and minutes, 9:30
if its the same week. Show the name of the day and time
earlier show the Month and date
