International Women's Day is celebrated on 8th March each year in honor of women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements throughout history. The day is also commonly referred to as the United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace. The day serves as a reminder of the struggles that women have faced and continue to face worldwide, as well as the tremendous contributions that they make to society. The first International Women's Day was celebrated in 1911, and since then, the day has become an important event that brings people together to celebrate women and their accomplishments.
