When running the example console prints «SOUNDMANAGER2 TIMEDOUT!!» and nothing happens.

Usually means the path to the swf is incorrect and it can't load. Check the soundmanager2 docs for more info: http://www.schillmania.com/projects/soundmanager2/doc/

For me adding "preferFlash: false" to the SoundManger configuration fixed the issue. Bit it's quite obvious thas this is not solving the real problem.
