Two issues around images in a recent build of the demo gh-pages repo:

  1. the lightbox is not opening when images are clicked
  2. the Birmingham image is uncentered on initial page load

Both of these issues have been fixed in the gh-pages and dist branches of the repo. The lightbox issue was due to a missing stylesheet link the the index file, and the uncentered image was due to a bad interaction between the css margin property and the js code changing the left-side offset of the slideshow image.
