Adding an option to save the output to a file (instead / in addition to GitHub checks) would be great to reuse it in other steps (e.g. adding a comment to the PR with the results).
It would be beneficial for outputs which should be truncated otherwise, too.

I do agree. I am looking for the output file as well but looks like its being saved to a tmp folder and then uploaded.
