Sublime text crashes every time you try to remove kite from it. Its a known issue but its not fixed yet.

After installing kite on sublime text 4 it crashes when you try to remove it. It also install itself again after you delete the package folder and reopen sublime.
Its a known issue and has been know for a while, why is it not fixed yet?
