right cables for connection

I get a panel not found error

From my NX8E I have this cable pccables. I connected it using a DB9 female to USB cable (links below) to my Rock64 computer USB 2.0 port.
I tried 3 cables from amazon.
1st cable
2nd cable
3rd cable
Any help appreciated.

I had the same issue see #40

You need a DTK-INTEL DB9 cable. The one you bought maps pin 1-1, 2-3, 3-5, etc.. The DTK-INTEL maps 1-6, 2-7, 3-8, etc..

so you had to buy another cable? or is there a configuration at software side you can change?

I think this ticket can be closed because everyone has a working cable. I also think it would be a good idea to add a wiki page with some tips to get it working. In my case, I have to change jumpers J8 and J10 (following nx584 manual instructions at https://www.surveillance-video.com/media/lanot/attachments/customimport/NX-584E-Installation-Manual.pdf), because my cable was not a NULL Modem. and after changing default jumper positions, I've got it working.
