KNOSSOS 5.1 quits after launch on MacOS 12.3.1 (Monterey), Intel MacMini

I installed KNOSSOS 5.1 today (2022-04-28), but when I launch it, it opens for about 2 seconds and then quits. Any advice?

the nightly probably works

we are planning on a proper release in the near future so repackaging v5.1 seems like wasted effort

if you got a macOS crash report, i would still be curious to see it

I did not get a MacOS crash report, it just quit.
