Using Vanilla Figma.notify makes the plugin feel sluggish

Overview

While using the notify api to tell the user what is happening. Rapidly clearing and applying new settings gives the illusion that the plugin is acting sluggish when in fact the messages are just stacking on top of each other in 4 sec intervals.
