./configure on Lubuntu 14.04.2 fail

I tried to build the current repository on Lubuntu 14.04.2.
I am not able to interprete the message. I put some version information in the output.

I'd need to see the output of ./bootstrap.sh and config.log to make progress on this. It looks to me like you may have run autoconf without running automake.
