Still having an issue with the nheqminer-gpu recognizing the header format for BTG.

My Cmd: ./nheqminer-gpu -l BTG.pool.minergate.com:3257 -u my.email@address.com -t 24 -cd 0 -cb 28 -cv 1

@codecharlie I attached a modified version of nheqminer:
miner.tar.gz

Can you please try with this version and the command below:

$ ./nheqminer-gpu -l BTG.pool.minergate.com:3257 -u my.email@address.com -p x -cd 0 -d 0

Hello Kazim! Thank you for such a quick fix —> it seems to work fine as long as I don’t put any of the CUDA specific flags on the command line like -cd, -cb. The hash rate seems OK at about 550 Sols/s Best Regards, Charles

@codecharlie Thanks for the update, did you observe this error with the last precompiled release (v7)? In any case can you please share the logs so I fix the header version?

Sorry, I didn’t try the precompiled one, normally I only run code that I build. If it will help you I can pull the v7 and run it and give you a copy of the -d 0 logs, would that help? Cheers, Charles

@codecharlie I think your crash was just at the beginning so a short log will do. If it doesn't crash than it's already fine :)

Hi @webgkv, which pool are you using? Can you post the arguments that you pass to nheqminer-gpu (you don't have to specify wallet address)?

Hi @kozyilmaz, its's miningpoolhub.com with multiple switch for different algo. I use Equihash.
My arguments is:

./nheqminer-gpu -l europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17023 -u webgkv.gtx970 -p x -cd 0

When is't switch to Zcash and Zclassic all good, when Zencash and Bitcoin-Gold I get the error above.

@webgkv This seems intentional, as you see until the first clean job is received Received new job #a31e miner doesn't do any calculation.

Stratum protocol states that:
Clean Jobs. If true, miners should abort their current work and immediately use the new job. If false, they can still use the current job, but should move to the new one after exhausting the current nonce range.

So I think that mining pool does this intentionally:

I am having no luck connecting to supernova for BTG.
tried on v7 as well and with out -d 0

@cronos45 How about dropping the stratum+tcp prefix. I think this should work:
$ ./nheqminer-gpu -l btg.suprnova.cc:8816 -u mystuff.here -p x -cd 0 -d 0
