How to set custom dimensions and metrics

Is there a way to set custom dimensions and metrics to be sent along the event?

@limpidlogic I'm very much tied-up with work at the moment, and sorry for delay in reply.

Dimensions and Matrices are relatively new features compared to the time this project was created.
Hence are not covered by the library (among host of a lot of new features.)

I've seen the documentation and it seems that these are mainly server side and it seems that there are just 2 variables in question, so could be easily added to the library. (I have no plan to do so in any near future though.)
