Is sending IP a violation of section 7 of the terms of service?

Can you do this?:

visitor = Visitor()
visitor.ip_address = ip_address

Or is a violation of section 7? I Mean, if it was a web browser you would be sending your IP, right?

Well, I'm not sure about section 7, but tracking such information need to be avoided to be compliant with State/country laws. And for that purpose we have option to anonymize IP.
