[macos 1.0.9] visuals eventually break

Apparently after some long runtime but unknown exact time the visualizations move themselves.
one of the channel appears to be phased. Lines is one of the best ways to tell along with normal sound producing lissajous figures out of nowhere
only happens in input mode.
