Online Calculator

This project is an Online Calculator implemented using Spring Boot and Gradle.

Before getting started, if you wish to read about what spring is, spring boot, JDK, beans, and MVC. Read my blog explicitly made for this project.

IntelliJ IDEA Setup

Download IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate: Download Link
- IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate provides advanced features, including full support for Spring framework.
Install Required Plugins: Video Link
- Open IntelliJ IDEA.
- Go to File -> Settings -> Plugins.
- Search and install the following plugins:
  - KeypromoterX
  - AIXcODER
  - Spring Boot Helper (optional but useful for Spring Boot projects)

To clone the repository to your local machine, use the following command in your terminal:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/Online-Calculator.git
cd Online-Calculator

To clean the project, run:

./gradlew clean

To build the project, run:

./gradlew build

To run the Spring Boot application, use:

./gradlew bootRun

Once the application is running, open your web browser or use an API client (like Postman or curl) to access the endpoints:

http://localhost:8080/add?a=10&b=20
