Client should not try to check rootca when an intermediate one is trusted

I have a kube cluster where signing CA is an intermediate one under an external to the cluster CA.
Looking at
python-base/config/incluster_config.py
Line 89 in f30d840
This mounted certificate contains the intermediate CA but the client is currently trying to check the root one and it fails, it should not.
Issues go stale after 90d of inactivity.
Mark the issue as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale.
Stale issues rot after an additional 30d of inactivity and eventually close.
If this issue is safe to close now please do so with /close.
Send feedback to sig-testing, kubernetes/test-infra and/or fejta.
