Remove old versions tag v999.*.*

Hello, I'm trying to build some automation to keep our fork of the driver updated with upstream. I rely on the tags to find the latest version with git tag -l v\* | sort -V and try to rebase our changes on top of upstream's latest. Unfortunately, I does not quite work with the driver because of versions v999.0.0, v999.0.1 and v999.1.0.

I can workaround it if that's the only solution but since those tags seem to have been created for some testing purpose, I was wondering if it's possible to remove them?
