No Vertical black bar when you first open the app or a section

There is a vertical black bar that appears on the left side of the questions. This suggests what the next questions to fill is/or the first question in the list. But when you first start the app or open a section there is no such bar indicating that. Only once you click on a answer does the black bar appear.
