Interlaced feed shows combing artifacts

When using an interlaced source format, the video playback exhibits combing artifacts. These combing artifacts are not visible when using Blackmagic's Media Express application or in the SDK's CapturePreview sample.
Is there some flag we can pass to Blackmagic to get the hardware or SDK to perform deinterlacing on our behalf? I am poking around in the CapturePreview sample to see if I can find anything, but haven't stumbled across anything revelatory yet.

i haven't worked with interlaced formats and blackmagic before, so this will require some experimentation on your side. wish i could help more!
