[potter_canine] Pilot vs Study - Split dataset?

The dataset is somewhat split in two parts: One belongs to a study described in their paper, and the other one looks like a pilot that was collected before that. The design is the same, however the stimulus combinations vary between the two experiments.
How do we handle these cases? Treat them as one dataset? Import it as two separate datasets?

As far as I saw, we don't really have a precedent for creating two datasets from one data source.
