Drop Python 3.6 support

Pytest 7.1.0 (March 2022) has dropped support for Python 3.6, causing our CI to fail. As a result, we haven't updated Pytest since. Perhaps we should also drop Python 3.6 support in general or in CI only?
Any thoughts, @lgeiger?
