Project website is dead

If you try to visit http://www.fxruby.org/, you get a blank page with some wording about sponsored ads having no relationship to the domain owner. I assume that there would have been some ads displayed if I did not have an AdBlocker installed.

It looks like the domain expired and needs to be renewed, or at least the link needs to be removed from the page in Github.

You're right, the domain expired some years ago. The content was outdated and I didn't have access to it and have little interest to maintain the page in addition to the sources. I'll remove the remaining references. Thanks for highlighting this!

Do you have a copy of the content of the website? Or is it too outdated to even bother? I'd be happy to set up something in Jekyll or Hugo so it can be hosted on Github.

I think this was the main content of fxruby.org. It also hosted the fxruby-guide as HTML and the API documentation generated by rdoc. The guide is currently not online and needs some updates. The API documentation is hosted on rubydoc.info since 2012 and it is up to date.

I already maintain a Jekyll based site so that Jekyll would be my favorite. It probably makes sense to convert the fxruby-guide to Markdown and host it on github pages.

The broken link in the gemspec is fixed by commit c5492f8. It will be updated on rubygems.org by the next release.
