They've gotta log in somehow. Probably best to have this unified from the get-go.

Any libraries that can take care of most of this for us? What kind of tables/endpoints will this entail or will all the relevant info (sessions, tokens, cookies, etc.) live in a cache?

Circling back to this, we have implemented logins with JWT but it's not ideal. Let's switch to full Oauth2. @robotmayo has offered to step up so I'm assigning him to this task for now.
