What new feature you'd like to see provided by API?
The post/** API payload should include a new fields extract to hold a post extract. If it is set by the user (a custom) extract, that should be saved along with the other data, otherwise, the first N words from the post body can be used as an extract
Have you considered any alternatives? Which?

Additional context
Post extracts should be used by the API clients along with the post title and slug while displaying a list of posts (for example). They should act as a quick summary for what the post is about.
