[Fedora 38] curl error, cannot create drive

Trying to create the drive, both on an aarch64 macOS VM and on a different x64 Fedora install, following all the instructions, even using root, leads to an error, followed by a long red string.

build.sh was ran as root, as well as git mkosi from pip

Should I use version 16 of mkosi, or stick with 15.1?
