I am trying your example but I get an error in the webview that opens up. I have correctly set the app id and secret in the app. Any idea what it is ? Also am not sure what the use of flutter_webview_plugin is as well.

Ahh got it. Had to add this to the facebook app options on https://developers.facebook.com/apps as well
