Datasets/Shiny: Interactive timeline

I have some thoughts on constructing an interactive timeline for the Star Trek universe containing episodes, novels, and movies by stardate, along with various significant historical events. Possibly integrating a view of branching/alternate timelines or mirror universes where applicable. Data is available but the biggest task is compiling a singular, consistently formatted data frame of timeline events that is as exhaustive as possible.
It's been a while. If anyone wonders about the status, I am still slowly, painstakingly, as time permits, working on data entry for this.
Current GitHub version (0.2.0) now contains two versions of timeline data frames as packaged datasets.
Now contains the ability to import timeline data from Memory Beta.
