The parts list should have its own set of options to define how it is rendered, independently of what happens in the model space (lighting/edges/etc), hence this bug:
when setting an edge color for new pieces introduced into the model, the parts list edges take that color as default, when in fact, the parts list presentation shoudl remain 'neutral' or be set independantly.
