Mistune 2.0.0 release?

Hi,
I have been testing markdown rendering in our archiver for GNU Mailman project, Hyperkitty for some time now using the alpha/rc version of mistune 2.0. While it works okay in our test environments, i was hoping that released stable versions rely on the non-pre-release dependencies.
I was wondering if you had any plans for the 2.0 release for mistune? There seems to be no issues or PRs marked with the 2.0 milestone at the moment.
Hi @lepture,
I am packaging hyperkitty for Arch Linux. I would like to chime in on the question about a mistune 2.0.0 release (I guess for plain selfish reasons :D). I don't want to push you into a release, but maybe there is something outside collaborators can help you with? :)
Looking at https://github.com/lepture/mistune/projects/1 I guess there is still a bunch of documentation to be done and probably pinging dependents, if mistune has indeed undergone a major rewrite.
Maybe the list of dependents on the package page for Arch Linux can be of help to you: https://archlinux.org/packages/community/any/python-mistune/ (note that the package page might change soon, as I will have to shift things around for accommodating hyperkitty, which will lead to the introduction of e.g. a python-mistune0.8 package):
Hey!
Debian would be interested in as well!
Cheers,
PEB
Hi @lepture
Do you think you will have some time to consider whether or not mistune 2.0.0 could be released?
Cheers,
PEB
@P-EB there are still documentation missing.
Ack, is there something I could do to help?
@P-EB if you can, can you help me writing https://mistune.readthedocs.io/en/latest/advanced.html#write-directives ?
released.
