Possible to keep track of state in AWS lambda TG bot?

Hi,
First off thanks so much for this useful tutorial

I am wondering if it's possible to prompt the user with a menu of options depending on what query they run. For example they say /weather, then the bot asks for your location, then you hit back with /Singapore or /NewYork or something. Is this possible? Would state need to be stored in a DB?

It should be possible but I don't think I will have the time to do it. This tutorial is more like a proof of concept. Feel free to fork it and modify it to your liking.
