No notifications on my phone

No notifications. I have checked all permissions and battery optimisation. No permissions have been denied and in Samsung a50 notifications settings it says app has never sent a notification.
I've even set my phone so the app can never be put to sleep. Can't think of anything else to try. I need my notifications.
