Where are the installation instructions?

I tried to install USM, but there are NO instructions that I could find that indicated what has to be done to get this to build without errors; the Getting Started doesn't indicate what code has to be moved into wherer in the existing app. I tried following the example, but was unable to even run it because there are NO instructions on how to run the example.

Does anyone know of any docs that might exist to help someone like me (noob) incorporate this API into an existing app?
