Maybe you are running both client and server on same port?
I have the same problem, but I don't know how to deal with it

Did you find the solution? I suspect it's GFW or networking issue but I can't confirm.
The problem resolves after I deploy it on a Hongkong server.

I'd tryed to build app and deploy in on hosting. Returns 500 error. I'd add an global Exception Filter to get an exact exception describe. It's same error "Failed to discover OP endpoint URL (message: No providers found for the given identifier)" already on hosting
I suspect Google has discontinued openid support. This module simply doesn't work anymore.
