Avoid OP sabotaging a popular discussion and its visibility by deleting the post. OP's anonymity upon deletion should remain intact.

I don't know, I feel like deleted should mean deleted. I don't even like the idea of admins being able to see deleted content, it should be visible either to the author or nobody. I think you have a good idea, but the solution would be a way to post anonymously imo, not a substitute for deletion.
