Documentation implies init_repository requires relative path

Is this a limitation of libgit2? I would love if there was the ability to use an absolute path instead. Alternatively, is this recipe in the docs outdated? http://www.pygit2.org/recipes/git-init.html

Where do you see the limitation? Do you get an error?

@carlosmn relative path isn't required, but the docs makes it seem that way. I edited the issue title.
