The manifest states that it's still version 0.5. Also, the commit with version 0.6 did not include any source code. Would it be possible for you to push these changes, too?
I have made some changes to 0.5 to support smallIcon via NotificationCompat.Builder but I fear it may not help to create a pull request if your local version contains any significant changes?
Also I just realized that there's no license specified in the project. Could you specify how it's licensed?

Oh, the license is Apache, mentioned in the individual files, of course - sorry.
