Cleanup long-standing PRs

As part of the process to put the library into maintenance mode, we should clean up long-standing PRs giving them some type of closure
A possible approach would be:
- Discard all PRs targetting current
masteror3.xseries - Discard WIP or PoC PRs
- Consider the rest

Y U no close? This one had so much promise, especially the "discard" bits...

We're not syncing this repo with JIRA, so I created https://issues.liferay.com/browse/LPS-122529 instead which will take us back here for this!
